Structured Cabling in Nairobi & Across Kenya
A network is only as reliable as the cable behind it. techSecure installs certified CAT6, CAT6A and fibre optic cabling for offices, warehouses, hotels and campuses in Nairobi — tested, labelled and documented so faults take minutes, not days, to find.
What the installation includes

Single-mode and multi-mode links between floors and buildings, spliced and OTDR tested.
Comms room build
Racks, patch panels, cable managers, PDUs, UPS and tidy, dressed patching.
Certified testing
Every link tested, with results issued as part of the handover pack.
Labelling schedule
Consistent labels at outlet, patch panel and rack so any engineer can trace a port.

Frequently asked questions
How much does structured cabling cost per point in Kenya?
Pricing is usually quoted per data point and depends on cable category, average run length, whether trunking, conduit or ceiling containment is needed, and the rack and patch panel hardware. Longer runs and fibre backbones raise the cost per point.
Should we use CAT6 or CAT6A?
CAT6 is enough for most offices running gigabit to the desk. CAT6A is worth it where you need 10 Gigabit to a floor, dense Wi-Fi 6 access points, or want the cabling to outlive two or three equipment refresh cycles.
Do you certify and test the cabling?
Yes. Every link is tested and we hand over the results with a labelling schedule and as-built documentation, so future faults can be traced to a specific port in minutes.
Can you cable an occupied office without disruption?
Yes. We routinely work evenings, weekends and in phased zones so staff keep working. We agree the schedule and access arrangements with your facilities team before starting.
Do you install fibre optic backbones?
Yes. We install single-mode and multi-mode fibre between floors, buildings and comms rooms, including splicing, termination, patching and OTDR testing.
Do you supply racks and comms room equipment?
Yes. Wall-mount and floor-standing racks, patch panels, cable managers, PDUs, UPS and cooling — installed and dressed to a standard you can hand to any future engineer.
