Frequently asked questions
How much does an access control system cost in Kenya?
A single door with a biometric reader, electric lock, power supply and exit button is the entry point. Cost rises with the number of doors, the lock type (magnetic, strike or drop bolt), turnstiles and whether you need cloud management or integration with payroll. We quote in KES after a site survey.
Can access control link to time and attendance?
Yes. Fingerprint and face readers can double as clocking terminals, and reports can be exported for payroll. We configure shifts, departments and report formats during commissioning.
What happens during a power cut?
Every installation includes a backup battery on the door power supply so locks and readers keep working. Doors are also fitted with mechanical override and emergency break-glass release for safe evacuation.
Do you supply turnstiles and gate barriers?
Yes. We supply and install tripod turnstiles, flap barriers, boom barriers and vehicle gate automation, integrated with the same access control database as your doors.
Which brands do you install?
We work with ZKTeco, Suprema, Hikvision and Dahua access hardware, and can manage systems from a cloud dashboard or an on-premise server depending on your policy.
Can access control work with our CCTV?
Yes. We link door events to camera recordings so each entry or forced-door alarm has matching video, which is the fastest way to investigate an incident.
